How to go to Siquijor island from Bohol, Cebu or Negros?

Siquijor is an island located in Visayas region. It has many attractions for tourists including Siquijor cliff jumping into the sea, cool waterfalls and beautiful beaches. It is easy, fast and convenient to reach Siquijor from Bohol, Negros or Cebu. The routes are not so touristic and the prices are reasonable. How to reach Siquijor from Bohol or Panglao island?

There are couple of companies which offer daily ferry services between Siquijor and Tagbilaran in Bohol. Anyway, if you stay in Panglao island you will have to go to Tagbilaran and from there board a ferry to Larena port in Siquijor. Prices and schedules tend to change so you need to check them at the port or call the ferry companies directly. In November 2017 we paid 700 pesos each for fast ferry by Ocean company + 20-25 pesos port fee. Ferries take between 2 and 3 hours.

How to go to Siquijor island from Cebu or Oslob?

If you are based in Cebu city I would recommend to go down south to Liloan ferry port by bus which has daily ferries to Siquijor island. Price is 200 pesos + small terminal fee which is about ~20 pesos. Ferry takes about 2 hours and you will be in magic place – Siquijor island. Liloan ferry port is just a short bus ride from the biggest tourist attraction – Whale sharks watching in Oslob.

How to reach Siquijor from Negros (Dumaguete)?

Not so popular, but also worth mentioning route from Dumaguete ferry port to Siquijor island. Price is about ~135 pesos and it takes less than 1 hour to reach Siquijor.

When you will arrive to Siquijor, probably port Larena and you will look for motorbike keep in mind the cheap motorbike rental in Siquijor.
