There are many different waterfalls in Siquijor, but probably the most famous ones are the best ones with greatly developed facilities and attractions for tourists. My recommendations are first – Cambugahay and second – Lugnason falls in Siquijor. Both of them have perfect spots for cliff jumping into the waterfalls pool.

Cambugahay Falls in Siquijor island 

Most famous Siquijor Waterfall – Cambugahay Falls.

You haven’t been to Siquijor island until you haven’t seen Cambugahay Falls. That’s what Lonely Planet probably says. First, crystal blue water makes these waterfalls outstanding, they look like from another world. Second, depending on the time of the day and season there could be many people or you could be alone. Finally, locals have made couple of spots for swing jump into the pool of the waterfalls. Try it!

There is a lower pool and couple of higher ones. While the first one is usually crowded the upper ones usually are quiet and not so busy.

How to get to Cambugahay Falls?

Jump on the scooter which you rented in the port or take a taxi/tricycle! Try to jump from cliffs which are not too high and will be perfect for your preparation before visiting Salagdoong beach Cliff diving spot.

Cambugahay falls have swing which you can try. Local people help tourists with catching the rope and tell you what to do.

Lugnason Falls in San Juan, Siquijor

Other tourist spot which is very developed and not too commercial in Siquijor island is Lugnason waterfalls. These falls offer donation based experience – there is no fixed entrance fee for the falls, hiking path or parking. You simply put as much money as you think it is worth. The guys working on this project do a good job and they take care of the spot really well. Besides that they developed a short hiking path between main waterfall and other smaller ones which are named by zodiac signs. Don’t skip that and see all of them, especially your zodiac sign! In Lugnason waterfalls there is a perfect spot for cliff diving, try it!
